The following Terms of Use (Terms) governs your use of the Australian Institute of Office Professionals website which is located at and form a binding contractual agreement between you, the user of the Site, and us, the Australian Institute of Office Professionals.

However, protocols, syllabi, courses and other matters contained on this Site are subject to change at any time by appropriate action of the Australian Institute of Office Professionals. We give no assurance or warranty that information on this Site is current and take no responsibility for matters arising from changed circumstances or other information or material that may affect the accuracy or currency of information on this Site.

2.1 Nothing in these Terms constitutes a transfer of any intellectual property rights. You acknowledge and agree that, as between you and Australian Institute of Office Professionals, all intellectual property rights in this Site rests with Australian Institute of Office Professionals, unless otherwise stated.

2.2 All aspects of this Site including data, documents, graphics, web pages and logos are the copyright of the Australian Institute of Office Professionals. and may not be reproduced in any shape or form.

3.1 You represent and warrant us that:

(a) You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms; and

(b) You have complied with clause 5.

4. Disclaimer of liability

4.1 This Site is provided on an ‘as is’, ‘as available’ basis and we do not provide to you any warranties of any kind, express or implied, including, but not limited to, those of title, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement or any warranty arising from a course of dealing, usage, or trade practice. No oral advice or written information provided shall create a warranty; nor shall members or visitors to the site rely on any such information or advice. Australian Institute of Office Professionals reserves the right to make changes to the information contained on the Site.

4.2 You assume all responsibility and risk for the use of this Site and the internet generally. Under no circumstances, including negligence, shall anyone involved in creating or maintaining this Site be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or lost profits that result from the use or inability to use the Site and/or any other websites that are linked to this Site. We accept no liability or responsibility to any person as a consequence of any reliance upon the information contained in this Site. Nor shall we be liable for any such damages including, but not limited to, reliance by a member or visitor on any information obtained via the Site; or that result from mistakes, omissions, interruptions, deletion of files, viruses, errors, defects, or any failure of performance, communications failure, theft, destruction or unauthorized access.

4.3 These Terms are to be read subject to any legislation which prohibits or restricts the exclusion, restriction or modification of any implied warranties, conditions, guarantees or obligations. 5. Online conduct

Visitors agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and are prohibited from posting on the Site any unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or obscene material of any kind, including, but not limited to, any material that encourages conduct that would constitute a criminal offence, give rise to civil liability or otherwise violate any applicable local, State, national or international law. Although in the absence of a specific complaint the postings are monitored for compliance with this provision, in an effort to discourage such conduct, please note that all postings in the discussion forum area will list the author’s name – no anonymous posts are permitted.

Users must observe and maintain the confidentiality of all security features relating to use of the Site (including passwords, access arrangements etc) as notified. No data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed as totally secure. Whilst Australian Institute of Office Professionals strives to protect such information Australian Institute of Office Professionals does not warrant and cannot ensure the security of information which users transmit. Accordingly, information is transmitted at the user’s risk.

Information collected – Site operation

11.8 Without limiting the means by which information is collected by Australian Institute of Office Professionals, the usage analysis software used by Australian Institute of Office Professionals records:

11.10 Australian Institute of Office Professionals may collect identifiable information such as contact details. Further, access to member only services has been made possible by using information contained in Australian Institute of Office Professionals databases. Accordingly, we collect personal information to facilitate the granting of access to member only services.

Access to information collected

11.11 Australian Institute of Office Professionals will not knowingly make an attempt to identify users or their browsing activities. However, in the unlikely event of an investigation, a law enforcement agency or other government agency may exercise its legal authority to inspect our Internet Service

Provider’s logs, and thus gain information about users and their activities.

11.12 All of the identified information that Australian Institute of Office Professionals has used to grant access can be viewed and changed by users when they view their personal details. In addition, users may contact Australian Institute of Office Professionals at any time to access personal information about themselves or directly access their details via the online portal. They will be required to fill out a form to access this information.     • to effectively operate the Site.

11.14 Any information users provide will only be used for the primary purposes for which users have provided it or a secondary purpose if it directly relates to the primary purpose or for any other lawful purpose.

11.15 Australian Institute of Office Professionals engages third parties to perform certain business functions. 12.3 Each party must at its own expense do everything reasonably necessary to give full effect to these Terms.

These terms of use will be constructed according to and are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.

Purchasing Online


Purchasing products or services on this website is restricted to individuals 18 years of age or older. Individuals below the age of 18 may have purchases made on their behalf by a parent or guardian.

Should we suffer any loss or damage as a result of a transaction entered into by a minor, we reserve the right to seek compensation for such losses from the parents or guardians of the minor who caused the order to be placed.


All products and services listed on this website are described to the best of our abilities and using the information available to us at the time. Care is taken to ensure that this information is correct, but we cannot eliminate the possibility of:

All orders on this website must be pre-paid before fulfilment. All orders are placed in Australian dollars.

In the case that you pay for an order with your credit card, we do not store your credit card number on our servers, however it may be retained by our payment gateway provider in circumstances where this is required.

In the case of offline payment, we will contact you to arrange payment. This process must be completed before your order can ship.

In cases where your payment for an order fails for reasons including but not limited to insufficient card credit, or cheque dishonour, we do not warrant that stock will be held until an alternate payment method is available or the original payment method made to function.


Prices are displayed to Australian visitors of this website (unless otherwise marked) including GST if applicable to the product, and in Australian Dollars.

If we determine that you are in a foreign country, we may display prices to you without GST and/or in alternate currencies.


In the case of purchase of a physical product from this website which satisfies one or more of the following cases we will gladly arrange a refund or exchange of the product:

    • The product proves faulty within 14 days of receiving the product and/or date of invoice
    • The product does not match its description as provided when sold
    • The product received is not the product ordered
    • The product has been damaged in transit

Please contact us immediately if any of the above occurs to arrange a return. Products returned without prior notice will be rejected.

Please ensure that returned products are safely packed in their original packaging. We will not be held liable for damage to products incurred during return shipping.

Refunds will be issued to the extent required by the Trade Practices Act 1974 (Cwth) and Sale of Goods Act 1958 (Vic). No part of these terms of use is to be taken as an express or implied repudiation of our obligations under these pieces of legislation.
