The Victorian Division is pleased to invite our members and the wider business support community to Leading the Evolution: Owning Your Next Chapter in a Changing Role, an engaging session with Katherine Gokavi-Whaley, Founder of SheLeads Coaching.

As AI and technology continue to reshape administrative and coordination work, the expectations of Executive Assistants and office professionals are also evolving, creating both uncertainty and opportunity. Katherine will explore what is changing, what AI is likely to replace and, importantly, what it won’t: the human judgement, relationship management, emotional intelligence and organisational awareness that increasingly define our value.

This session will look beyond tasks to explore how the profession is evolving, from strategic roles through to operational, project-based and AI-enabled pathways. Rather than focusing on fear or disruption, Katherine will help attendees consider their own strengths, priorities and career direction, with practical ways to articulate their value, navigate uncertainty and take greater ownership of what comes next.

Katherine Gokavi-Whaley is an executive coach, leadership mentor and former COO and CEO with more than 20 years of leadership experience across startups, not-for-profits and corporate environments. Combining her background in psychology with operational and leadership expertise, she supports people to build confidence, redefine their value and navigate pivotal career transitions with greater clarity and purpose.
