Managing Stress, Heavy Workloads and Isolation in Your Role

AIOP's Victorian Division is pleased to invite our members and the wider business support community to join us for our final event of 2026 - an evening to connect, unwind and celebrate the year, with some practical wellbeing insights along the way.

As Executive Assistants and administrative professionals, we're often the people keeping everything moving, juggling competing priorities and supporting others. But who supports the people doing the supporting?

We're swapping the boardroom for drinks, canapés and good conversation. It's an opportunity to reflect on the year, recognise all we've achieved and take a well-earned moment to focus on ourselves. After all, looking after others starts with looking after ourselves.

We're delighted to be returning to Hotel Indigo Melbourne, who looked after us so well earlier this year. Joining us will be our guest speaker Jo Gibbs from Treat Healthcare. A registered nurse and leadership coach with more than 35 years of experience in high-pressure healthcare environments, Jo understands the impact of stress, fatigue and constantly supporting others.

Through Treat®, she works with leaders and teams to reduce burnout, strengthen emotional regulation and build sustainable approaches to wellbeing and performance. She will share practical, research-informed strategies to help navigate competing priorities, manage workplace stress and overcoming the feeling of being stranded on an “EA island”.
