About the Speaker, Candice Burningham AFAIOP 

Candice Burningham started her 20-year admin career as an ‘Office Junior’ at an Architects firm in Brisbane, Australia. She worked her way up to being a C-Suite Executive Assistant to some of the biggest and brightest minds globally including BBC News CEO (and former NBC President) Deborah Turness, SBS Managing Director Michael Ebeid AM and Collingwood President (and former Channel Nine Managing Director) Jeffrey Browne. She has delivered the executive and operational support for presidents, CEOs, and founders of some of the top media, entertainment, design and financial companies. She knows and understands the admin community and its key companies, industries, and trends in the Australian market.

After coming back to Australia from the UK in August of 2021, Candice started searching for jobs. She was shocked to find that there was no one website or community just for admin roles. Her surprise and frustration resulted in an idea. She founded Admin Avenues to solve two main problems: finding great admin roles and helping employers find great admin candidates.

Admin Avenues is Australia's first and only premiere employment marketplace and community for admin professionals. Administrative staff are vital to business and therefore, Candice knew the industry needed a niche specialist website that solely focuses on jobs in admin.
