Membership Grades and Qualifications 

Grades of Membership

Fellow FAIOP $140

Any person who has 15 years’ office experience or

Who holds a business degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification with an accredited institution, and is employed as either an office professional or a qualified educator responsible for business education.

Evidence of qualifications should include proof of qualification, a copy of a resume’ listing years of working experience, and can demonstrate ongoing professional development,

may apply for membership.

Associate Fellow AFAIOP $140

Any person who has 10 years plus office experience and

who holds a business degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification with an accredited institution, and is employed as either an office professional or a qualified educator responsible for business education.

OR any person who has 15 years’ office experience and can demonstrate ongoing professional development,

may apply for membership.

Member MAIOP $140

Any person who is employed as an office professional, or a qualified educator responsible for business education may apply for membership.

Proof of employment to be provided via a Resume and email from your current position,

may apply for membership.

Student $40

Any person who is not working full-time and studying for a business qualification and provides written evidence of course details and provides a copy of their student card and ID number may apply for membership.

(Membership is valid from 1 February to 31 December).

Other Memberships

Affiliate $60

Any person who maintains a connection with AIOP either as a past member, non-working person, or as a volunteer may apply for an Affiliate membership.

International $140

Any person living and working overseas as an office professional may apply for an international membership by providing a copy of their resume, including years of working experience, and company details and location to confirm their role.

Renewal of Membership

Renewal of membership is due annually by 30 June each year.

AIOP offers membership campaigns prior to the annual renewal period.
